Kerri – 3-Year-Old and 4-Year-Old Early Childhood Teacher
I have worked in the early childhood sector for over 35 years and hold an Associate Diploma in Childcare as well as a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education.
Over the years, I’ve worked in a range of settings including community childcare, early intervention programs, and both 3 and 4-year-old kindergarten groups. I’ve also held leadership roles, including educational leader and nominated supervisor.
I believe in the importance of building respectful and trusting relationships with children and families to support each child’s learning and development.
I see play as a vital part of how children learn, and I strive to create a warm, engaging and curiosity-driven environment where every child feels inspired to explore and grow.
I currently also work with Mercy Health in a Mothers and Babies support program, and I love working alongside a team of passionate professionals.
