Windermere Reserve Kindergarten is a community-based kindergarten, proudly run by a volunteer Committee made up of parents and carers of children attending that year. Since its beginnings, local parents have taken on this role, shaping the kindergarten into the thriving, welcoming space it is today – a tradition we hope to continue for many years to come.
Our Committee meets monthly to discuss all aspects of the kindergarten, including upcoming events, marketing, fundraising, and any necessary structural or operational changes. These meetings ensure the smooth running of the kindergarten and provide a valuable opportunity for parents to have a voice in its future.
Each year, a new group of parents steps forward to serve on the Committee, bringing a diverse range of skills and perspectives. There are many roles available, allowing parents to contribute in ways that suit their strengths and availability.
